To Our Family &amp; Friends, We know that life can get so busy, but we sincerely hope you can join us for our wedding celebration. Please take this time to let us know if you still plan to attend our wedding on Tuesday, September 22, 2026. This information is needed for our final numbers. Your response is greatly appreciated, and the RSVP deadline is Friday, September 4th; no exceptions. Please note that not completing an RSVP by the deadline will result in a voided RSVP. If you still plan to celebrate with us, please remember that the dress code is formal garden party. We also request that you refrain from wearing red or white attire out of respect for the bride and groom. The ceremony starts promptly at 5:30 pm (no disruptions will be allowed during the ceremony; so, please plan accordingly). Late arrivals are joyfully welcomed to join us for a celebratory dinner. Please NO cell phones, cameras or videos during the ceremony. We have a professional on site. Our Wedding

We&nbsp;met&nbsp;at&nbsp;Semenaya,&nbsp;though&nbsp;we'll&nbsp;forever&nbsp;debate&nbsp;exactly&nbsp;when.&nbsp;Pablo&nbsp;noticed&nbsp;me&nbsp;first,&nbsp;surrounded&nbsp;by&nbsp;the&nbsp;rhythm&nbsp;of&nbsp;Afro-Latin&nbsp;dance.&nbsp;We&nbsp;signed&nbsp;up&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;salsa&nbsp;boot&nbsp;camp,&nbsp;but&nbsp;it&nbsp;only&nbsp;took&nbsp;a&nbsp;couple&nbsp;of&nbsp;classes&nbsp;before&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;too&nbsp;busy&nbsp;falling&nbsp;for&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;to&nbsp;finish.&nbsp;Neither&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;expected&nbsp;to&nbsp;leave&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;fiancé. But&nbsp;the&nbsp;real&nbsp;beginning&nbsp;was&nbsp;honesty.&nbsp;During&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;conversation,&nbsp;Pablo&nbsp;shared&nbsp;parts&nbsp;of&nbsp;his&nbsp;story&nbsp;that&nbsp;many&nbsp;people&nbsp;would&nbsp;have&nbsp;waited&nbsp;much&nbsp;longer&nbsp;to&nbsp;reveal.&nbsp;Rather&nbsp;than&nbsp;creating&nbsp;distance,&nbsp;that&nbsp;openness&nbsp;laid&nbsp;the&nbsp;foundation&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;built&nbsp;on&nbsp;trust,&nbsp;acceptance,&nbsp;and&nbsp;authenticity.&nbsp;It&nbsp;set&nbsp;the&nbsp;tone&nbsp;for&nbsp;everything&nbsp;that&nbsp;followed:&nbsp;neither&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;has&nbsp;ever&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;wear&nbsp;a&nbsp;mask,&nbsp;pretend&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;someone&nbsp;else,&nbsp;or&nbsp;hold&nbsp;back&nbsp;the&nbsp;parts&nbsp;that&nbsp;make&nbsp;us&nbsp;who&nbsp;we&nbsp;are.&nbsp;I'm&nbsp;his&nbsp;person,&nbsp;but&nbsp;he's&nbsp;my&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;person. Our&nbsp;story&nbsp;truly&nbsp;took&nbsp;shape&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;Que&nbsp;Padre&nbsp;Latin&nbsp;Dance&nbsp;Festival—not&nbsp;simply&nbsp;because&nbsp;the&nbsp;attraction&nbsp;grew,&nbsp;but&nbsp;because&nbsp;we&nbsp;chose&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;Since&nbsp;then,&nbsp;we've&nbsp;spent&nbsp;three&nbsp;years&nbsp;building&nbsp;a&nbsp;life&nbsp;together:&nbsp;renovating&nbsp;our&nbsp;home,&nbsp;welcoming&nbsp;new&nbsp;grandchildren,&nbsp;learning&nbsp;each&nbsp;other's&nbsp;traditions,&nbsp;and&nbsp;perfecting&nbsp;everything&nbsp;from&nbsp;beef&nbsp;patties&nbsp;to&nbsp;enfrijoladas.&nbsp;Following&nbsp;him&nbsp;around&nbsp;with&nbsp;Google&nbsp;Translate&nbsp;open&nbsp;is&nbsp;a&nbsp;thing&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;past.&nbsp;These&nbsp;days,&nbsp;we're&nbsp;more&nbsp;likely&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;caught&nbsp;laughing&nbsp;hysterically&nbsp;over&nbsp;brunch&nbsp;after&nbsp;I&nbsp;blurt&nbsp;out&nbsp;a&nbsp;telenovela-inspired&nbsp;faux&nbsp;pas—much&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;bewilderment&nbsp;of&nbsp;nearby&nbsp;diners,&nbsp;who&nbsp;glance&nbsp;over&nbsp;and&nbsp;appear&nbsp;genuinely&nbsp;concerned&nbsp;that&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;us&nbsp;may&nbsp;need&nbsp;rescuing. We&nbsp;still&nbsp;dance&nbsp;occasionally,&nbsp;but&nbsp;we've&nbsp;realized&nbsp;our&nbsp;favorite&nbsp;place&nbsp;is&nbsp;home—curled&nbsp;up&nbsp;together,&nbsp;sharing&nbsp;reels&nbsp;while&nbsp;sitting&nbsp;side&nbsp;by&nbsp;side,&nbsp;flipping&nbsp;through&nbsp;family&nbsp;photo&nbsp;albums,&nbsp;or&nbsp;laughing&nbsp;about&nbsp;the&nbsp;fact&nbsp;that&nbsp;my&nbsp;idea&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;perfect&nbsp;date&nbsp;night&nbsp;is&nbsp;getting&nbsp;dolled&nbsp;up&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;fancy&nbsp;restaurant,&nbsp;while&nbsp;he&nbsp;lovingly&nbsp;looks&nbsp;over&nbsp;and&nbsp;smiles&nbsp;knowing&nbsp;we'll&nbsp;probably&nbsp;be&nbsp;back&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;couch&nbsp;within&nbsp;the&nbsp;hour. Today,&nbsp;we're&nbsp;building&nbsp;a&nbsp;home&nbsp;full&nbsp;of&nbsp;Afro-Mexican&nbsp;pride—a&nbsp;place&nbsp;where&nbsp;our&nbsp;cultures&nbsp;blend,&nbsp;and&nbsp;history&nbsp;is&nbsp;something&nbsp;we’re&nbsp;proud&nbsp;of.&nbsp;Whether&nbsp;we&nbsp;stay&nbsp;in&nbsp;San&nbsp;Antonio&nbsp;or&nbsp;find&nbsp;ourselves&nbsp;raising&nbsp;a&nbsp;family&nbsp;in&nbsp;Mexico,&nbsp;our&nbsp;future&nbsp;brings&nbsp;laughter,&nbsp;joy,&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;life&nbsp;worth&nbsp;remembering.

Q + A

We’re calling this a Formal Garden Party—think polished elegance with a relaxed, outdoor-friendly twist. For women: full length, spring-friendly florals, muted pinks, or vintage-inspired prints. For men: a linen suit or blazer with dress slacks, tie optional; lighter fabrics and soft colors (navy, gray, or warm neutrals) work well for an outdoor setting. It’s an outdoor September celebration in Granbury, TX—layers like a light wrap or jacket are recommended for the evening. Cowboy hats and boots are welcomed! We kindly ask that you refrain from wearing jeans or casual sneakers as we aim to maintain an atmosphere of elegance. We also ask our guests to refrain from wearing red or white attire out of respect for the bride and groom. For your convenience, please see the section titled "Dress Code" or your Save The Date for photo inspiration.

Type: cabin rentalTo venue: 28 min&nbsp;(16.9&nbsp;mi)&nbsp;via State Hwy 144 S Cabins on the Ridge provide a relaxing retreat for large family gatherings or private couples' getaways. The main house has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths and sleeps 10. Three charming cabins sleep 4, 4 and 2 respectively. The entire propery is available, or each cabin can be rented individually. A newly added pickle ball court will be the center attraction for gatherings. Horse shoe, corn hole and washers are on site. The property is 15 minutes from Downtown Granbury and the lake.

Built in 1875 for James Doyle, this High Style House with Queen Ann stylistic influence now serves as Captain’s House On Lake Granbury. Just a walk to the Historic Granbury Square. James Hogan Doyle was a decorated hero in the Civil War and moved to Granbury in 1870. James H. Doyle was Hood County’s fourth treasurer and served as chairman on the Granbury School Board. He was also the original director of the First National Bank of Granbury. He co-owned the Baker-Doyle Building which is one of the oldest buildings on the Square. James Doyle was a charter member of the Granbury Masonic Lodge, founded in 1875, and was instrumental in getting the first bridge built across the Brazos River.
